getting ready for Ruby Mae

these folks pictured here are two of my dearest friends

papa collin and i are enjoying something like our 17th year of friendship

mama roz and i have recently grown even closer 

we share a bond familiar to mothers with children close in age

we also share a passion to create with a rather unconventional outlook

they are expecting baby #3

a girl

after two boys ages 15 and 6 and no plans on having another

a baby girl is a pleasant surprise

sweet Ruby Mae will be arriving early next year

possibly with curls on???

being part of this day to photograph her nearly full grown belly was great practice

and i can use every bit i can get :)

a day of culture and family

I LOVE these signs so simple and primitive

something so simple inspires me so much

I find it a little funny how much I really like them

I will be making one soon real soon

 Here is a peek into our day spent at our local cultural center

to remember the local tribes of Natives

and learn some new things about our local history

a celebration full of spirit

we had a special gathering in celebration of one special lady

we were blessed with many feminine, strong, beautiful ladies attending
we laughed till we cried and laughed some more
we took a sunset cruise on the lake

what a wonderful gathering it was

I truly look forward to any chance we spirited ladies have to gather

catching a dream...
