we spent the evening with some wonderful friends
they are creating quite the home & farm for themselves
a beautiful existence
working with nature not against it
though its not easy
their hardwork & determination is evident
in every & all things around their land
I am happy to have them in our life
I look forward to seeing their dreams blossom into reality
and what beauty full dreams they have!

domestique :: I like that word
ideas and inspirations of a collection are whirling about in my head
I am always a sucker for the primitive, olde world, prairie kinda thing
reminds me of a time when women always wore dresses
from cleaning the kitchen to cleaning the barn
just wear an apron
there's something so lady like

this says a lot for me
it's as though she is speaking to me directly
+ a couple kids in the mix = anxiety
she really has some great things to say
here's a few of her pointers
plan to make a plan.
judge things by the year not the day.
keep busy and stay focused on your goals.
you really should read her whole post
and here's something else I found
seems informative and interesting
thanks laceyDU for the introduction
looks like one pic over another and the top ones opacity has been decreased..
I like how the flowers are so bright and the aged look...hello picnik!
one day my inspirations and spirits vision will be reality
one day very soon
I can feel it in my skin...

this is good to know and very interesting
I am excited to have found this in my daily research
found here for more details
Because the garment lacks a care label we know this skirt was made prior to 1972. Read more about care labels here. But now let's narrow down the years even more.

I think the one on the right is a dress
and I like the cutout back a reflection of the 80's
hmm...just something else
I am dreaming of a little vacation

primitive, simple, olde, handmade, special
filled with folklore and funk
love these vintage photo hangtags...found here
I already have my own collection of photographs I want to use

refreshing, romantic, simple, natural
I have included some of their words and captures to give a taste of what they offer
remember to visit the links to discover for yourself
"Kinfolk is a collaborative effort to encourage a more natural approach to entertaining. It's the marriage of our appreciation for art and our love for spending time with family and friends."
"We recognize that there is something about a table shared by friends, not just a wedding or once-a-year holiday extravaganza, that anchors our relationships and energizes us."
found in their journal
“Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” – Albert EinsteinImages
