Beauty and function out of trash

These bags I happened upon here in an evening of endless searching, full of inspiration. I am fond of and very excited by finding a great treasure that someone has discarded to be trash, especially one with history. I am intrigued by seeing great things come of these salvages. What Leslie Oschmann of Swarm has done with these salvaged vintage paintings is fabulous. What a wonderful idea that turned out beautiful and quite strong and durable too I'm sure.
