The glow of the sun, the old wood structure, the seasons collection hung out to dry - I LIKE IT. This isn't the first time I have mentioned them here and it probably won't be the last.  These rather new pictures call to me along with so many of their images and the intro to their site appeals to me too. Some good ole southern rock with mixes of fringed leather, turquoise and whiskey speaks to my inner cowgirl and indian.  I found these pics here.

Look I created a tumblr page.  At first I thought it might be kind of repetitive with a blog, instagram, pinterest and tumblr but as I began to collect the first images there I noticed how it is a catalog for all my most favorites and its just page after page of pictures. a different kind of pumpkin

With Harvest, Halloween & Holidays just around the corner it's that time to break out the decorations and your DIY skill for decorating.  I found a few ideas for a different kind of pumpkin on pinterest. My favorite is the stuffed cloth ones but I think the easiest & most fun for the kids would be the melted crayon ones.  I think it's important to involve the kiddos in decorating for the season. To me it's what this season is all about, bringing together family in celebration.

headed to Hemline

This week I am making a big delivery of new designs to lovely Hemline. Leather scrap and salvaged bullet shells. Reclaimed copper (some decades old) and my favorite natural stones. Crystal points, pyrite, amber, citrine, carnelian, lapis and turquoise. Handcrafted and authentic. I am excited about these pieces. I hope everyone else is too.

Today I have a photo shoot scheduled with one natural beauty. Just her and I snapping around her simply elegant home (plus baby Taj). Eeeeeek!
