little pieces of wood that have drifted in from sea
water-drenched, sun-bleached, beach-combed, hand-drilled
each with its own character
...its own story
just imagine from where it may have came
maybe from just down the coastline
or maybe from the other side of the horizon
I completely enjoy working with driftwood
from the joy of discovering the beach treasure
to the handcraft of drilling through it
to the reward of creating with it
